A broken bracket on a mower deck guard is the kind of problem that stops everything. You can't safely run the machine, you can't finish the job, and waiting days for a shop appointment isn't an option when the yard isn't going to mow itself. That's exactly the situation we walked into on this one.
The damage was pretty significant. The guard bracket had torn clean away from the deck - the metal was ragged, cracked, and completely separated. It wasn't a hairline fracture you could limp through. The deck itself had taken some serious stress, and the broken pieces needed proper prep before any weld would hold.
We showed up the same day the call came in. After pulling the deck apart and grinding the damaged area down to clean, solid metal, we welded the bracket back into place right there in the yard. That's the whole point of mobile welding - the shop comes to the equipment, not the other way around. No flatbed, no waiting, no dropping a machine off and hoping for the best.
The repair held up exactly the way it needed to. Good penetration, solid fusion, no shortcuts. This is the kind of equipment modification work we do regularly - whether it's a mower, a trailer, or any other piece of gear that takes a beating and needs to get back to work fast. If it's metal and it's broken, we can usually handle it on-site.
Downtime costs real money. A same-day mobile weld is almost always cheaper - and faster - than hauling equipment in for service. If something on your end has cracked, torn, or broken loose, we're worth a call.
