Sometimes a plant needs more than a stake in the ground. Wisteria is a serious climber - it gets heavy, spreads wide, and will outlast anything flimsy you throw at it. So when this homeowner asked us to build something that could actually handle it, we built a structure that will still be standing long after the vine fills in.
We fabricated a full steel trellis - vertical posts, horizontal crossbars across the top, and lateral rungs on the sides to give the wisteria plenty of climbing surfaces to grab onto. The whole thing is welded solid. No bolts working loose over time, no wobble, no rust-prone hardware. Just clean metalwork that fits the backyard without looking out of place.
The frame sits right at the edge of the garden bed and concrete patio, which is exactly where you want it. The wisteria already had a foothold in the surrounding greenery, so placing the trellis there gives it a clear path to grow up and over the top. A few seasons from now, this thing is going to be completely covered.
This is the kind of work we do beyond hand rail installation - custom metalwork built to spec for whatever you've got going on. Yard structures, garden features, shop builds, property upgrades. If you can sketch it out, we can figure out how to fabricate it.
Happy customers make the job worth doing. The smiles at the end say it all - and that little guy's expression pretty much sums up how we feel about a job well done.
